Ainomori News — On November 20, 2020, a brand-new virtual world quietly came into being in Taiwan. Ainomori’s first guardian — Toba Rana — made her official debut in the form of an owl guardian deity.
A Guardian from Another World
In Ainomori’s lore, Rana is a guardian deity from a mysterious forest. She once wielded the power of six wings, but lost most of her divine strength after an ancient great war. In the year 5050 of the Forest Calendar (Earth year 2020), she flew down to the human world, meeting its people through the form of a VTuber.
Standing 147 cm tall, 5,567 years old, and with a favorite food of apples — this seemingly petite guardian carries the story of an entire forest on her shoulders.
The Starting Point
Ainomori’s parent company, Yenz Design Co., Ltd. (艷世設計有限公司), has been deeply rooted in visual design and brand marketing since 2016. In 2020, the team channeled years of accumulated design expertise and creative energy into a brand-new dream — to create a virtual idol brand that belongs to Taiwan.
On her debut day, Rana immediately showed her unique charm: the ability to mimic the sounds of various birds and animals, freely switching between different character personalities, and weaving professional animation skills into her live streams.
The First Adventure
The day after her debut, Rana launched her very first Minecraft stream. In the world of blocks, she took her audience along to explore, build, and adventure — planting the seeds that would one day grow into Ainomori’s Minecraft SMP.
Viewers were quickly drawn in by her distinctly Taiwanese humor and warm sense of companionship. As one viewer put it: “Watching Rana’s streams feels like coming back to a place where you can relax.”
The Forest’s Promise
“Indigo, love, AI can change the world.”
This is the promise Ainomori made from its very first day. In the space between the virtual and the real, this forest aims to be a place filled with love and warmth — not just entertainment, but a form of companionship.
On this day, the story of the forest had only just begun.
“When you gaze upon that shade of indigo, the forest is watching over you.”
