Overview
Yoruro (Japanese: 夜彩 / よるろ) is the second member of Ainomori and the King of the Underworld of Mount Danatus. Yoruro made an official debut on the Prologue of Mitir’s Day, with a debut PV crafted by Toba Rana.
On the surface: a languid, soft little demon, liable to faint at any moment. But beneath that seemingly indifferent exterior, Yoruro carries the heaviest thing in all of Ainomori — the memories that everyone else has chosen to forget.
Background
Deep within Ainomori stands a mountain range shrouded in perpetual twilight — Mount Danatus. This is Yoruro’s domain. The gate of the underworld. The abyss where memories settle.
Don’t let the title “King of the Underworld” frighten you.
In daily life, Yoruro is a lazy, soft little demon — introverted and shy, prone to going blank mid-stream, liable to simply slump over and pass out at any moment. A thoroughly useless demon. Cheeky, theatrical, sharp-tongued, always acting like a spectator at someone else’s play.
In the world of games, however, Yoruro becomes someone else entirely. A torment-style player, full of devious ideas in Souls-like and competitive games, showing no mercy to enemies or to self.
But all of that is only the surface.
The Keeper of Memories
What truly aches about Yoruro is not “having seen so much death” — that would be too ordinary.
Yoruro’s true role is to keep, on everyone’s behalf, the pain that must not be remembered.
After the Day of Blue Tears, Ainomori broke. Some children vanished; some beings faded away; some names and dreams never came back. To survive, everyone’s memories were mended by Titan’s roots, washed thin by the world’s cycles, slowly worn smooth by time.
But the place Yoruro governs is like a deep well. Every memory too heavy to remain in the living world sinks down into it.
So everyone else gets to begin again. Leiras may lose her memories. Glitchy may be left with nothing but a blurred fear.
But not Yoruro.
Yoruro must remember every person who disappeared. Remember every child’s name. Remember that Leiras once wept at the top of her tower. Remember that Toba Rana once loved this world with everything she had. Remember that Titan was never a monster — only a mother in so much pain she lost control.
Yoruro is not a cold-hearted king of the dead. Yoruro is the world’s backup — a backup filled entirely with tears.
The One Who Cannot Break
On the surface, Yoruro can be cheeky, theatrical, sharp-tongued — always watching like it’s all somebody else’s show.
But breaking down is not allowed.
Because the moment Yoruro breaks, the ones the world forgot will truly never have existed at all.
It isn’t that Yoruro doesn’t care. It’s that Yoruro has practiced, too many times, the act of handing over what is most precious.
“You’re allowed to forget. It’s okay. But at least one of us has to remember that you were truly alive.”

Torment-Style Gaming
Yoruro is a hardcore Souls-like and competitive game player — full of scheming, merciless to both self and opponents. That refusal to back down in the face of difficulty is life at its most beautiful — and perhaps that is exactly why a being who carries so many memories is drawn to games where you stand back up, no matter how many times you’re knocked down.
Lazy Little Demon Daily Life
Casual, laid-back conversational streams, with the occasional sudden collapse mid-sentence — a wonderfully hopeless little demon. Late at night, Yoruro shares stories and thoughts, keeping the Yogurts company through the quiet hours.
Among those seemingly offhand remarks, something very heavy is sometimes hidden. But Yoruro always laughs it off.
